Okay great! I was just crawling the web when I got this update from TechCrunch.com. Twitter in Iran has been hacked by a group known as the “Iranian Cyber Army.” Tech Crunch states that Twitter already had security issues and the website is vulnerable to attacks by hackers.

The Iranian Cyber Army not only hacked the website, but also defaced it from the web. And this is what the message read on twitter.com domain in Iran:

THIS SITE HAS BEEN HACKED BY IRANIAN CYBER ARMY

iRANiAN.CYBER.ARMY@GMAIL.COM

U.S.A. Think They Controlling And Managing Internet By Their Access, But THey Don’t, We Control And Manage Internet By Our Power, So Do Not Try To Stimulation Iranian Peoples To….

The Iranian Cyber Army is the group that is claiming to be behind these attacks as it is obvious from the message. If anyone wants to contact them about the whereabouts of the Twitter website in Iran, they have left an email address on their note.  =P
